Retail Staff Pharmacist - Clovis, CA

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist ready to manage a medium to high volume prescription workload. This position requires hands-on experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate dispensing and exceptional patient care.


Location: Based in Clovis, CA, with a daily commute of no more than 30-40 minutes to surrounding smaller communities near Fresno.


Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Excellent, predictable weekday hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on proper use
• Manage and oversee prescription verification and inventory control
• Utilize Rx30 pharmacy software to process prescriptions and patient records
• Collaborate with support staff to maintain smooth workflow within the pharmacy
• Uphold all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
• Engage patients to provide medication therapy management as needed

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months retail pharmacy experience with medium to high volume Rx management
• Proficiency with Rx30 software system preferred
• Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred but not required since pharmacy technicians are bilingual
• Willingness to commute within designated area, including smaller communities around Fresno
