Overview
Registered Nurse - Dialysis (Hemodialysis) needed for a hospital-based dialysis unit in Rochester, New York. Start date: 10/05/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,361–$2,475 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week. Shift: 4x10s. This travel temporary assignment supports both inpatient and outpatient dialysis care, with floating to cover other dialysis locations as needed. Primary schedule generally includes Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–6:00 PM, with rotating weekend requirements.

Responsibilities
- Administer hemodialysis treatments for acute and chronic patients in a hospital-based dialysis unit
- Cannulate AV fistula/graft, manage tunneled/non-tunneled catheters, and perform dialysis vascular access care
- Operate and troubleshoot dialysis machines (Baxter, Fresenius, Gambro, Prismaflex); monitor alarms and respond to issues such as blood pump, conductivity, pressure, blood leak, UF, and temperature alerts
- Monitor patient status during dialysis, manage common complications (hypotension, hyperkalemia, fluid overload, cramping, disequilibrium), and implement appropriate interventions
- Maintain sterile technique, infection control, and appropriate charting in Epic
- Provide collaboration with the care team and participate in coverage across multiple dialysis locations as needed
- Participate in on-call duties as assigned and support rotating weekend coverage

Requirements
- NY RN license in hand to submit
- BLS certification
- Epic charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year dialysis experience; acute and outpatient dialysis experience preferred
- Ability to work in a dialysis unit setting with float coverage across locations
- Education: Registered nursing degree; active RN license in New York
