APO Claims Analyst

Asbestos, Pollution & Other Latent Liabilities
Manchester, NH (Hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced Claims Analyst to manage a diverse portfolio of asbestos, pollution, and other claims involving historical insurance policies. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our insureds, defense counsel and our internal teams, and help drive effective and creative claim resolutions.

What You’ll Do

• Manage asbestos, pollution, and/or other claims involving historical insurance policies
• Review lawsuit and/or claim notices and interpret policy coverage
• Coordinate with defense counsel, expert witnesses, and peer insurance carriers
• Evaluate liability and damages
• Drive litigation strategy and settlement negotiations
• Collaborate with the Reinsurance team on reporting and recovery efforts
• Support due diligence requests and travel as needed
• Maintain required adjuster licenses

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of claims handling experience, litigation experience, or related background
• Experience with management and evaluation of litigation and claims
• Experience with coverage analysis preferred, but not required
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment

Education & Credentials

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Preferred: JD, CPCU, SCLA, or CCLA
