The Role

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, articulating each step with empathy and professionalism
• Work hand in hand with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any operational issues
• Maintain precise documentation of procedures and safeguard patient records within the electronic healthcare system
• Continuously update knowledge of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Essential Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
