This role is accountable for driving transaction execution, enforcing operational discipline, and ensuring the platform operates in a controlled, scalable, and audit‑ready manner.The role sits at the intersection of investment, operations, and internal business partners and provides hands‑on support across public and private asset‑backed strategies, including residential, consumer, and commercial asset finance. The individual will play a central role in ensuring transactions are executed efficiently, risks are identified and managed, and proper controls are in place from approval through closing and into ongoing management.This is a hands‑on role for someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment—owning execution, coordinating across stakeholders, and maintaining a strong control framework as the platform grows.Primary ResponsibilitiesTransaction Management & Deal ExecutionSupport the end-to-end operational execution of ABF transactions from approval through close, serving as the central point of coordinationDrive transaction timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across internal teams (legal, compliance, operations, finance, tax, technology) and external partiesProactively identify execution risks, structural complexities, and documentation gaps; drive timely resolutionOversee transaction readiness, including documentation, funding mechanics, and operational setupEnsure smooth transition from closing to post-close monitoring and operational handoffAct as a key execution partner to the investment team, enabling efficient deal structuring and decision-makingControls, Governance & Risk ManagementOwn and maintain ABF operational controls, ensuring alignment with firm standards and regulatory expectationsEnsure transactions are executed in accordance with established controls, policies, and governance guidelinesIdentify control gaps or operational risks during transaction execution and implement practical solutionsPartner with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit on control reviews, audits, and regulatory inquiriesMaintain clear documentation and audit trails to support transparency and accountability across transactionsSupport integration of new asset types, structures, and counterparties within an appropriate control frameworkPlatform Execution Support & OversightServe as a point of coordination across key operational workstreams, including servicing oversight, reporting, data management, and vendor relationshipsSupport onboarding of new transactions and counterparties from an operational readiness and controls perspectivePartner with technology and operations teams to ensure workflows and systems support efficient deal executionMonitor ongoing transactions for operational consistency, issue identification, and adherence to agreed processesReporting & CommunicationProvide clear, timely updates on transaction status, execution risks, and key milestones to stakeholdersPrepare materials for internal stakeholders and leadership on transaction activity and platform executionMaintain organized records and documentation to support deal tracking, reporting, and audit requirementsQualifications2-5+ years of experience supporting transaction execution, deal closing, or middle office functions within structured credit, securitization, or asset managementStrong understanding of transaction lifecycle, closing mechanics, and coordination across multiple stakeholdersExperience working with trustees, servicers, counterparties, or external deal parties preferredFamiliarity with controls, audit processes, and operating within regulated environmentsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple transactions under tight timelinesComfort working cross-functionally with investment, legal, compliance, and operations teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience with deal tracking systems a plusStrong work ethic, ownership mindset, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment#LI-CM2Base Salary Range: $125,000-145,000 and additional incentive compensation.Requisite SkillsData Management, Process Control, Process Governance, Transaction ExecutionAdditional SkillsBarings is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer; Minority/Female/Age/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Individual with Disability/Protected Veteran.
