Schedule: Full time Shift: Night (United States of America) Address: 601 E Rollins St City: Orlando State: Florida Postal Code: 32803 Job Description: $15,000 Sign On Bonus for Eligible Candidates $3,000 Relocation Bonus for Eligible Candidates Schedule: 36 Hours per week plus CALL 3X12 (6:30p to 7a) Location: 601 E Rollins Street, Orlando, FL 32803 Performs diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures, electrophysiology procedures, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, neuro radiologic procedures, structural heart procedures, and pediatric procedures. Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed. Administers medications and performs treatments according to policy and training. Evaluates effectiveness of interventions and medications. Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies. Produces accurately written and promptly completed medical records for each patient. Maintains authenticity and security of medical records, following prescribed processes for amending documents. Performs procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in therapeutic cardiac and electrophysiology laboratories. Takes call as rotated/assigned and responds in hospital per policy. Provides training for procedures within their competency and assists with orientation, training, and education of new personnel. Participates in quality and performance improvement activities to improve patient outcomes and documents activities as needed. Participates in unit/service line budgeting processes to ensure a cost-effective, quality-focused environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation [Required] • Knowledge of Cardiovascular anatomy [Required] • Knowledge of Vascular anatomy [Required] • Knowledge of Hemodynamic Monitoring [Required] • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required] • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required] • Ability to monitor patient blood pressure, ECG, and Pulse Oximetry using sophisticated clinical equipment [Required] • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required] • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required] • Knowledge of complex peripheral intervention procedures, peripheral diagnostic procedures and peripheral intervention procedures [Preferred] Education: • Associate of Science [Required] • Bachelor's of Science [Preferred] Field of Study: • in healthcare related field Work Experience: • 1+ relevant healthcare experience [Required] • 2+ years in cardiac cath/EP/neurosciences/ critical care, or interventional radiology [Preferred] Additional Information: • N/A Licenses and Certifications: • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required] • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred] • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) [Required] OR Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Required] OR Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular Interventional (R.T.(CV)(ARRT)) [Required] OR Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required] OR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements)
