We're looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one or our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Monmouth Junction, NJ area. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures, and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians work, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and ensure the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers deliver timely completion of high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work. Service Managers also communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations. Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age. Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess one of the following qualifications: One year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales. One year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance. Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
