Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Experience operating a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation Ability to read shipping documents and identify storage locations Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to safety Must pass a sit-down forklift assessment at the worksite Job Duties Load and unload products using a sit-down forklift Keep production equipment supplied with materials as needed Transport, stack, and organize inventory throughout the facility Support shipping and receiving operations Perform equipment inspections before use Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with warehouse organization Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
