This position will be located in Roy, UT; Colorado Springs, CO and or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for one or more software development Scrum teams on the GBSD or other SDS programs. Our focus is on ensuring process execution and efficiencies in the development, testing, and release of the software deliverables.Roles and responsibilities:Support individual scrum/sprint teams by attending meetings, creating Jira dashboard tools to help monitor progress and execution efficiency. Offer suggestions for improvement to the software leadership.Understand process health, progress and stability metrics when requiredBecome fluent in the use of tools; Jira, Confluence, Jazz, DOORS or others as neededBe a constructive advocate for Mission Assurance and relentlessly articulate our Value Proposition to our stakeholdersEnsure GBSD software is in compliance with industry guidelines and contractual requirements for development of military weapon systems. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.You'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's of Science degree with a minimum 5 years of related experience; or 3 Years of experience with Masters; or 1 Year of experience with PhD.Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needExperience in developing and implementing Software Quality Assurance plans.Experience in developing and using metrics for process health and performance monitoringExperience with prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlinesExperience being a liaison between local personnel, suppliers, and customersExperience in evaluation, tracing, and analysis of requirementsThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:STEM degree preferredExperience in Missile Systems/Sub-Systems design, construction, or sustainmentExperience in process monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metric reporting for a large program/supplier-base.Experience in Peer Reviews and Code ReviewsExperience in software build testing, qualification, and Integration and TestAble to read and understand Software Code (C++, Java, Python)Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems and software problem tracking tools (e.g., SAP, DOORs, Jira, Confluence)Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologyPrimary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $148,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
