Sr. Principal Enterprise Wide Applications Analyst [Remote]

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Principal Enterprise Wide Applications Analyst based in the United States.

As a Sr. Principal Enterprise Wide Applications Analyst, you’ll help shape, implement, and sustain enterprise applications supporting complex maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations.
You’ll bridge business needs and technical delivery, translating operational requirements into scalable application and integration solutions.
The role focuses heavily on ERP, SAP, MES, iMRO, and related enterprise systems, with opportunities to solve complex cross-functional challenges.
You’ll lead integration development, troubleshooting, configuration, testing, documentation, and business process improvement initiatives.
Working with technical experts, business stakeholders, and end users, you’ll help deliver capabilities that improve enterprise operations and sustainment processes.
This is a remote, highly collaborative role requiring strong technical judgment, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
You’ll have significant visibility across the organization, including opportunities to communicate progress and technical solutions to senior and executive stakeholders.

Accountabilities

• Lead the development, delivery, and ongoing support of integrations between enterprise systems, including MES, SAP S/4 Service Management, iMRO, and related applications.

• Support cross-sector and cross-functional teams of technical specialists, business experts, and end users working within maintenance, repair, overhaul, and sustainment environments.

• Analyze complex business and technical challenges and define solutions aligned with organizational objectives, operational requirements, and enterprise architecture.

• Lead interface development, troubleshooting, enhancement development, testing, regression testing, and validation activities.

• Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, translating business processes and requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Provide SAP configuration support and oversee configuration management in accordance with established processes, standards, and controls.

• Develop and maintain formal interface documentation, including functional specifications, workflows, data mappings, and related technical documentation.

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, application capabilities, system integrations, and overall operational efficiency.

• Coordinate and contribute to user acceptance testing and business process validation activities.

• Provide regular project and operational status updates, including technical briefings and presentations for senior or executive leadership when required.

• Lead technical activities and help ensure project commitments, schedules, and deliverables are achieved.

• Apply structured troubleshooting methodologies to identify root causes and deliver sustainable resolutions to integration and application issues.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a completed degree.

• Extensive experience troubleshooting enterprise application and integration issues using systematic approaches to reach effective, sustainable resolutions.

• Broad understanding of ERP technical principles, concepts, and architectures, along with the ability to understand how interconnected enterprise disciplines affect one another.

• Demonstrated experience with manufacturing processes and sustainment execution systems, particularly within maintenance, repair, and overhaul environments.

• Strong experience with SAP configuration, with 4+ years of SAP configuration experience preferred.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori is preferred.

• Experience writing functional specifications, including researching and identifying technical data needed to guide development teams.

• Expertise with iMRO and Plant Maintenance systems, including relevant domain models, processes, and workflows.

• Familiarity with legacy SAP ERP environments and a strong understanding of SAP S/4 Service Management, Plant Maintenance, and iMRO.

• Experience designing or supporting system integrations between iMRO, Plant Maintenance, SAP ERP, MES, and related enterprise applications.

• Experience leading integration projects or technical workstreams from requirements through implementation and validation.

• Familiarity with user acceptance testing and business process testing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex technical issues and determine practical solutions.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence stakeholders, drive decisions, and deliver against schedule commitments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders and present information to senior leadership.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse technical and business teams across functions and organizational areas.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
