May 2 Written By Guest User As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in our project development and execution, responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality low voltage telecommunication solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of Divisions 26, 27, and 28 specifications and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Estimation and Budgeting Conduct comprehensive reviews of project plans, specifications, and requirements related to Low Voltage Telecommunications (i.e., Division 26, 27, 28). Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment based on project scope. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives and constraints. Bid Proposal Development Develop and present competitive bid proposals to customers, ensuring alignment with project goals and customer expectations. Analyze and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements. Risk Analysis Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project execution and develop strategies to mitigate them. Work closely with the project team to anticipate and address unforeseen challenges during the estimation process. Collaboration Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations. Foster positive working relationships with customers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Cost Control Monitor project costs and provide ongoing support to the project management team in controlling and optimizing costs throughout the project lifecycle. Continuously seek opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising project quality. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Estimator in the Low Voltage Telecommunications field, with expertise in Divisions 26, 27, and 28. In-depth knowledge of low voltage systems, cabling, and telecommunications infrastructure. Strong proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, Premiere, etc...). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Familiarity with industry regulations, codes, and standards.
