Position Overview
Bring your expertise to help grow an existing hospital-based 100% infectious diseases consultative practice at United Health Service (UHS). This position will include providing inpatient and outpatient consults and follow‑up in the specialty of infectious disease at two hospitals – Wilson and Binghamton General Hospital (UHS) and teaching of residents and students while on service. It also includes time set aside for work related to antimicrobial stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consults and follow‑up at Wilson and Binghamton General Hospital.
- Teach residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University during service.
- Participate in antimicrobial stewardship activities.
- Collaborate with the existing group of three physicians and three APPs.
Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible in Infectious Disease .
- Completed an ACGME‑accredited residency program.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual Compensation Range: $278,823 – $348,600.
- Malpractice insurance provided.
