Health Technician

Job Duties
Help
Perform ambulatory and inpatient procedures and direct patient care under credentialed-provider supervision.
Recognize medical emergencies and monitors patients for distress/acuity changes; escalates to providers as needed.
Manage patient intake in MHS Genesis; verifies eligibility, updates records, and transcribes physician orders per SOP.
Assemble and maintain health records; prepares charts, files results, and safeguards patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
Handle reception and scheduling; answers phones, books appointments, and manages no-shows/reschedules per policy.
Maintain a clean, safe environment and equipment; practices universal precautions and reports safety/security concerns.
