Company DescriptionGranite Risk Management is a leader in construction lending risk mitigation, providing nationwide services including contractor review, draw administration, inspections, and fund control to financial institutions and investors.Granite is looking for a National Business Development Manager to drive growth within Granite Risk Management’s construction lending and risk mitigation portfolio, with a specific focus on SBA (Small Business Administration) lending programs. This role will be responsible for prospecting and securing new client relationships while expanding and deepening partnerships with existing clients.The ideal candidate will bring an established network across SBA lenders, banks, mortgage companies, developers, and builders, and leverage those relationships to accelerate revenue growth and expand adoption of Granite’s full suite of construction risk management solutions.Candidates must currently reside in the United States.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & GrowthDevelop and execute a national business development strategy to expand Granite’s construction lending and SBA portfolioProspect and acquire new clients across SBA lenders, CDCs, banks, credit unions, and private lendersLeverage existing relationships to generate immediate pipeline and accelerate revenue growthIdentify cross-selling opportunities across Altisource service lines to increase wallet shareMarket Expansion & StrategyIdentify and pursue high-value opportunities with developers, builders, real estate investors, and lending institutions nationwideAnalyze market trends, SBA program updates, and competitor positioning to influence sales strategyPosition Granite as a trusted risk management partner for SBA construction and renovation financingClient Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key stakeholdersServe as a strategic advisor to clients on construction lending risk, compliance, and operational efficiencyPartner with internal client relationship and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and deliveryFinancial & Risk AcumenEvaluate potential deals through financial analysis, project feasibility, and risk assessmentUnderstand SBA 7(a), 504, and related construction lending requirements and compliance considerationsEnsure alignment between client needs and Granite’s risk mitigation capabilitiesSales Execution & ReportingDevelop compelling, data-driven presentations and proposals for prospective clientsMaintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking in CRM systemsTrack performance against revenue targets and strategic growth initiativesCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with operations, underwriting, and risk teams to deliver consistent, high-quality serviceCollaborate with marketing to refine value propositions and go-to-market strategiesSupport product development feedback loops based on client and market insightsQualificationsRequired7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management, preferably in a national roleDirect experience in construction lending, SBA lending, or commercial real estate financeStrong network within SBA lenders, financial institutions, or construction ecosystem participantsProven ability to generate and close new business at the enterprise levelDeep understanding of construction lending lifecycle, risk management, and regulatory environmentStrong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial and project dataExcellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skillsProficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environmentPreferredExperience with SBA 7(a), 504, and construction/renovation loan programsBackground in selling risk management, inspections, fund control, or construction servicesFamiliarity with multi-state lending regulations and compliance requirementsExperience selling into banks, credit unions, private lenders, and mortgage companiesCore CompetenciesStrategic sales and market expansionRelationship building and executive influenceFinancial and risk analysisConsultative, solution-based sellingPipeline management and forecastingCustomer-centric mindset with long-term relationship focusAdditional InformationWhy Join Granite Risk ManagementIndustry-leading platform with 25+ years of experience and $55B+ in managed construction projectsNationwide footprint supporting top-tier banks, lenders, and government agenciesScalable solutions across residential, commercial, and renovation construction lendingOpportunity to drive growth in a high-impact, national sales rolePERKS OF WORKING AT ALTISOURCEProsperityCompetitive base salaries at $100k+ with additional sales incentives - we believe the top talent deserves the top dollar!401k plans with company matching – we want to empower you to foster your career, and prepare for retirementGood HealthComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plansTax-free Flexible Spending AccountLife insurance, short-term, and long-term disability...And Happiness!Paid holidays, plus 19 days of accrued PTO for a total of 28 paid days off per yeaOur Innovation Starts with YOU!Altisource’s vision to drive innovation that powers the mortgage and real estate lifecycle is made possible by an inclusive culture that celebrates the diverse voices of our employees.
