CNC Machinist

CNCMachinist Dayshift 6am – 2:30pm $22–23/hr DOE Are you an experienced CNCMachinist with strong attention to detail and a passion for precision? A local manufacturing facility is looking for a CNCMachinist to join their team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce high‑quality parts in a fast‑paced production environment. If you’re mechanically inclined and enjoy working with advanced machining technology, this could be a great fit for you. Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment) to produce precision parts Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine settings Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Adjust machine offsets and parameters to maintain accuracy and quality Perform routine maintenance to ensure machines remain in safe working condition Maintain accurate production records and follow all quality and safety standards Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and supervisors to improve processes and efficiency Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred) 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Experience with CNC setup, operation, and troubleshooting Strong understanding of machining processes and precision measuring tools Dependable with reliable attendance and good communication skills Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting to 50 lbs Experience with CNC programming (G‑code, CAM software, etc.) (preferred) Multi‑axis machining experience (preferred) Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement (preferred) Benefits: Starting Pay: $22–23/hr DOE Paid Every Friday!
