Supported Living Specialist (Flexible Schedule)

Position We are seeking a full-time Supported Living Specialist who will work 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Support adults who experience developmental disabilities to live independently in their own homes and apartments. Help clients make personal choices, learn new skills, and participate in community activities. Provide one-on-one support to build meaningful relationships with clients. Assist with chores and personal care as needed (e.g., showering, medication administration). Schedule Flexible schedule with Fridays and Saturdays required. You may choose the other days, typically 4-5 days per week (8 to 9 hours per day, roughly 8am–7pm). Note: If you work a 9-hour day a couple of days per week, you will be scheduled to work fewer hours on other days within the same week. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Be able to transport clients in your own vehicle: at least 18 years old, valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, at least two years of driving experience, auto insurance, and a clean driving record. Ability to pass a reference check, a physical lifting test of 50 lbs, and a criminal history background check. Experience in the developmental disability field is preferred but not required. Compensation and Benefits $20.52 per hour, with annual wage increase based on satisfactory performance. Overtime eligible for hours over 40 per week. Medical, vision, prescription, and alternative care coverage for employee, spouse/domestic partner, and children. Paid time off: 3 weeks, increasing to 4 weeks after 5 years of service. 11 paid holidays per year. 401(k) retirement plan with up to 4% employer match.
