Recruiter

Job Description: The organization is seeking a Recruiter II with comprehensive experience in full lifecycle recruiting, including on-boarding and conducting interviews. The role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with hiring managers to meet current and future staffing needs, sourcing qualified candidates through various channels, and overseeing recruitment activities to support organizational hiring goals. The position offers potential for extension beyond the initial end date and the possibility of converting to a full-time employment status. Key Responsibilities Conduct and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates. Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay informed of staffing needs and hiring priorities. Screen applicants to ensure qualifications align with relevant job criteria and licensing standards. Coordinate and schedule interviews, including arranging travel accommodations as needed. Perform reference and background checks on candidates. Maintain employment records and ensure compliance with federal and state policies. Advise management and candidates on staffing policies and procedures. Review recruitment strategies and recommend improvements, including participating in job fairs and outreach to civic and social groups. Supervise clerical staff responsible for recordkeeping, filing, and data entry. Project recruitment expenditures for budgeting and financial planning. Serve on selection and examination panels to evaluate candidates based on test scores and qualifications. Maintain current knowledge of relevant policies, laws, and best practices in recruiting and staffing. Required Qualifications Proven experience in full lifecycle recruiting, including candidate on-boarding and conducting interviews. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers. Strong skills in candidate screening and assessment aligned with job requirements. Capable of managing multiple priorities and maintaining organized employment records. Knowledge of federal and state employment policies and laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to coordinate interview logistics and provide candidate support. Proficiency in utilizing recruiting databases, networking, and internet sourcing resources. Preferred Qualifications Experience in aviation recruiting or pilot knowledge/recruiting. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems such as SalesForce or WorkDay. Prior experience in technical or specialized industry recruitment. Ability to participate in outreach activities and organize recruiting events.
