This position offers the chance to work in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment producing high-precision metal components used in advanced machinery and equipment.Whether you have machining school experience or several years of hands-on CNC programming and setup experience, we have opportunities available across multiple skill levels.Available Shifts1st ShiftMonday-Friday5:00 AM - 1:30 PM2nd ShiftMonday-Friday3:00 PM - 11:30 PMCandidates hired for 2nd shift will train on 1st shift for approximately 1-2 months before transitioning to their assigned schedule.Job ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and speed-cell machinesRead and interpret blueprints and engineering drawingsMachine components to tight tolerancesUtilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gaugesPerform machine setups and changeoversTroubleshoot machining issues and adjust offsets as neededOperate manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, and surface grindersSelect proper tooling and gauging for production runsSupport production and assembly requirementsMaintain quality and safety standards throughout manufacturing processesEntry-Level Qualifications1+ year of machining experience or completion of machining-related training/schoolingAbility to read and understand blueprintsBasic knowledge of G-Code and M-CodeStrong mechanical aptitudeExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsExperienced Machinist Qualifications3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with setup, operation, and programming of CNC equipmentStrong blueprint reading and interpretation skillsProficiency with G-Code and M-CodeExperience maintaining tight tolerancesAbility to work effectively in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsOD/ID grinding experienceLarge CNC lathe experienceMill-turn or 5-axis machining experienceManual machining experienceMazatrol controls experienceMastercam programming or editing experienceRigging or crane operation experienceTechnical or vocational machining certificationWork EnvironmentThis position is located in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility equipped with advanced machining technology.
