Motor Vehicle Representative

Job Posting The Account Management Unit seeks a dependable team player with prior telephone customer service experience. The Motor Vehicle Representative (MVR) will access various systems and databases to key and process applications for Government and Commercial accounts. The MVR reviews, verifies and updates applications and contracts, and assigns requester codes. Determines balances due by viewing customers' records. Corresponds with customers daily by phone, email and mail. Answers questions about the application process and interprets information on forms, printouts, and in the CA Vehicle Code. Generates and mails Driver License (DL) printouts upon request. Dependability and punctuality are essential. All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Salaries are non-negotiable and are subject to the California Department of Human Resources salary rules. Salaries for part-time and/or intermittent appointments may vary. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.
