RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) with 2-3 years of critical care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of patient care and demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, and TTM management.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in floating to various units as necessary, including Emergency Department, Stepdown, Med Surg, and possibly Behavioral Health.

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit; strong candidates with closer to 2 years will be considered.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required. TNCC, PALS, and CCRN certifications are preferred.
• Ability to manage and utilize advanced equipment effectively in a clinical setting.
• Flexibility to float to various departments as needed.

Work Environment:

This position may require floating to multiple locations within the region. The candidate must be adaptable and open to caring for patients across a range of specialties.

Schedule:

This position requires a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.
