What You'll Do:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Assist with complex procedures such as catheterizations, intra-aortic balloon pump placements, and Impella device management
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and patient vitals during procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain detailed patient documentation and comply with procedural protocols
• Support patient education and post-procedure care instructions
• Flexibility with floating is not required; on-call rotation may be involved for emergency support

What You Need:

• Valid KS RN license or Compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular Cath Lab setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, hemodynamics, and patient monitoring
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• Experience with Mac Lab systems
• Experience managing intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, or temporary pacemakers

About the Assignment:

This assignment is at a well-respected facility specializing in cardiac catheterization procedures. The Cardiovascular RN will support high-acuity patient care, working alongside skilled clinicians in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment. Comprehensive orientation will be provided, including attendance at KU NEO training on the first Monday and Tuesday of your start week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The unit emphasizes high-quality care and a nicotine-free environment.
