PROJECT MANAGER

Position Details Location: Mountain View, CA. Schedule: Monday – Friday. Pay Range: $90,000 – $105,000 annually. Role Summary The Project Manager oversees the successful completion of the project portfolio, developing project plans, managing timelines, maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating cross‑functional collaboration, and handling budgetary forecasting and reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of complex projects and initiatives in collaboration with Strategic Operations team leadership. Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to lessons learned, ensuring outputs align with business strategic objectives. Support the coordination of the annual strategic plan and management of corresponding action items or project work. Engage with key stakeholders to enable and support changes associated with business growth. Mentor and develop junior team members, advising on best practices for projects and stakeholder management. Develop project plans, presentations, and proposals to facilitate successful project launches. Manage the development of the facility pillar designed to maximize business growth and optimize opportunities within the facility line of business. Support client relationships to expand new business opportunities. Maintain project folders, tools, documents, and resources for each project in scope. Attend or facilitate client‑facing meetings/calls, providing thought partnership and support to clients and Bon Appétit cross‑functional teams. Coordinate and host project meetings including kick‑offs, steering committee calls, updates, lessons learned, and close‑out. Monitor and report on organizational standard metrics, updating project activities against the Project Management Plan. Provide status reports on project health to stakeholders and organizational leadership. Maintain project team health and foster a positive working relationship among all team members. Demonstrate leadership behaviors that support the client and Bon Appétit, interacting professionally with all employees, customers, and suppliers. Deliver quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision. Drive culture change through influence and leadership. Work independently while coordinating with other employees and organizations. Provide frequent communication and feedback to Strategic Operations leadership regarding team successes and opportunities. Update and maintain documents that communicate Bon Appétit’s project management standards, SOPs, and training systems. Stay current on operational standards, procedures, and resources to optimize business results. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a technical area of study, preferred. 3–5 years of facilities or project management experience in restaurant, hotel, stadium, or retail settings. Ability to influence and manage team members at all levels to drive project results while maintaining a partnership model. Experience using Google products (Hangouts, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Sites) and project‑management platforms such as Asana. Strong ability to prioritize workload and respond quickly to time‑sensitive requests. Excellent planning and coordination skills for multiple priorities and diverse clients. Clear spoken communication and attentive listening to staff, peers, supervisors, guests, and clients. Ability to follow oral and written directions and adapt to changing situations.
