Purchasing Associate

The role will be responsible for the three non-chemical RSS Stockrooms at Campus. Duties and Responsibilities Pulling together orders based on the needs of each stockroom. Ensuring the right amount of inventory on the shelf to handle the researchers' needs, without overstock and limiting the number of out-of-stock items. Balancing inventory to support a successful stockroom. Verifying that all orders are received. Putting away inventory for the different stockrooms. Straightening inventory on shelves and updating any paperwork needed. Handling returns or requesting credits from suppliers and tracking items on the back‑order list. Maintaining clean, safe, and well‑stocked stockrooms. Ideal Candidate Qualifications Attention to detail and strong follow‑up skills. Comfortable with managing daily tasks and ad‑hoc projects. Ability to connect with vendors, customers, and co‑workers via email and in‑person interactions. Customer focused with a desire to learn and stay busy. Purchasing, SAP, SDS, and inventory experience is a huge plus. Physical Requirements Physical tasks such as putting away inventory and cleaning stockrooms. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and pick up trash or sweep floors as needed.
