Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Security Experience - +1 YearsValid Driver's LicenseTSA Issued TWIC Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri07:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat05:00 AM - 01:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation in accordance with site requirements. Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and potential security‑related concerns. Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, visitor records, and access control documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. A TSA‑issued TWIC is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
