Production Planner

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and manage daily, weekly and yearly production schedules to support customer demand
- Understand the manufacturing process on assigned production lines to ensure schedule efficiency.
- Create and review capacity analysis to identify constraints or opportunities to better optimize planning
- Exhibit knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to apply these tools for planning purposes
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while supporting service excellence to our customers.
- Strong ability to interpret data to support decision-making
- Work through routine and non-routine situations in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter and resourceful individual
- Demonstrates ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams; team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor communication to the senior level management
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions on a limited set of data
- Ability to make executive decisions to protect business needs/strategies
- Ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly based off business or management needs
- Other responsibilities as assigned
SELECTION CRITERIA
Education
- Bachelors Degree Required: Supply Chain Management or equivalent preferred
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in production planning and/or supply chain or equivalent
- Project leadership preferred
Other
- Ability to develop and recommend process, system improvements
- 2-5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain planning, forecasting, business planning or related function
- Experience with advanced planning system
- Experience in business analytics and reporting tools
- Experience and functionality within Excel
