Principal Analyst, Estimating and Pricing

Job Overview Position: Estimating and Pricing Lead – Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS), Tucson, AZ Key Responsibilities Lead development and understanding of significant proposals. Collaborate with other functions to develop estimates for all cost elements associated with proposed contracts. Utilize estimating and pricing programs and tools such as ProPricer. Develop detailed Request for Estimates (RFE) to kick off proposals. Provide estimating support for the development of Basis of Estimates, including validating and analyzing actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and confirming estimating approach is sound. Perform detailed and complex analysis of inputs. Prepare and present complex Gate 4 charts for program and company leadership review. Ensure compliance with FAR, DFAR, TINA, and internal requirements. Interface with all levels of management to assess and formulate potential solutions leading to a thorough proposal submittal. Train and support less experienced estimators in FAR requirements, proposal process, and estimating tools. Maintain the ability and willingness to obtain special access clearance for work activities as appropriate. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens eligible for a security clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance (DoD Secret, active and existing after day 1). Preferred Qualifications Strong investigative abilities and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines in a schedule‑driven environment. Planning and scheduling skills leading to completion of efforts in accordance with customer and company requirements. Teamwork and interpersonal skills with peers and management. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to follow and apply internal and external regulations to proposal development. Knowledge of ProPricer, the Raytheon pricing tool. Knowledge of federal proposal regulations including FAR, DFAR, TINA. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
