Case Staffing Manager Jackson Lewis P.C. is a leading employment and labor law firm. As the Case Staffing Manager, you will be responsible for allocating and staffing legal matters across the firm, ensuring attorneys are matched with assignments that fit their skills, experience, and availability. The role supports the firm’s case staffing strategy and may be aligned to specific offices as practices expand. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of matter staffing, understanding each case’s unique needs. Oversee assignment of attorneys to matters based on skills, experience, capacity, and billable hour trends. Use firm resources and technology to maintain accurate caseloads and meet billable requirements. Handle transitions of matters during attorney departures, leaves of absence, and integration of new hires. Maintain a client‑focused approach and nurture relationships within local offices. Qualifications & Skills Education Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred. Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience at a litigation law firm; employment law preferred. Proven work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Key Skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Advanced organizational and time‑management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Effective interface with employees at all levels. Proficiency with technology and assessment tools. Success in collaborative team environments. Benefits Competitive salary range of $125,000–$160,000 (Chicago/Seattle; applicable for Colorado & Washington as well). Eligible for annual bonuses.
