Insurance Sales Agent

The Responsibilities
The Responsibilities
- Meet new business production and retention goals and objectives as established.
- Solicit new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Obtain accurate info to develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
- Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Property Managers, Bookkeepers, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
- Learn and understand the product offerings available and become an expert in advising our clients on how to mitigate risk
- Be an ambitious self-starter with a sense of urgency and desire for personal growth
- Take responsibility for their time and their results
- Be eager to learn, listen and know when to pause to ask for help
- Be easily able to make best friends out of strangers / cold calls
- Have excellent phone / written communication
- Be a positive team player who respects others time and is thoughtful in providing timely updates
- Comfortable using a CRM to track results, follow-up, collaborate and maintain relationships
- Property and Casualty license is required for this role!
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree is a plus
- Guaranteed Base Salary plus Commission and Bonus structure
