Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Master Data Specialist to join our pharmaceutical client in Tampa, FL. This is a 2-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.90/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Schedule: 8:30-5:00

Description: The Data Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining, validating, migrating, and monitoring business-critical data to support operational, compliance, and business objectives. This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, quality, and compliance across multiple systems and repositories. The specialist will support data governance activities, maintain master data records, perform quality reviews, resolve data discrepancies, and contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, update, and validate data records across business systems and repositories.
• Review, analyze, and reconcile data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
• Support data migration, data quality, and master data management activities.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data inconsistencies, missing information, and compliance-related issues.
• Maintain audit trails, review logs, status trackers, and documentation supporting data governance and operational activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and remediate data.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure information is properly classified, documented, and maintained.
• Generate reports, metrics, and status updates for leadership and project teams.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities to enhance data quality and operational effectiveness.
• Participate in project meetings, working groups, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Provide support and training on data management processes and best practices as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver excellent service and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
• 2-3 years of experience with data management, master data maintenance, data quality, data migration, or related operational activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience maintaining documentation, audit trails, logs, and reporting metrics.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookups, data validation, and data reconciliation techniques.
• Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, data repositories, or similar business applications preferred.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Management, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in data management, master data management, data quality, data migration, operations, compliance, supply chain, patient operations, or related business functions.
• Experience working in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments preferred.
• Experience supporting cross-functional projects, system implementations, or process improvement initiatives preferred.

Must-have Qualifications:

• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated environment.

Overqualified Indicators / Similar Titles:

• Candidates whose recent experience is primarily at the manager, senior manager, director, enterprise architect, data-science lead, or strategic program-lead level, rather than hands-on data validation, reconciliation, migration, documentation, and remediation work.

Target Companies:
