What You'll Do as a Machine Operator:
- Operate cutting equipment for metal fabrication
- Use software to create and modify 2D drawings
- Read and follow BOMs, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Set up and run fabrication equipment presses, saws, sanders, CNC & laser cutting Machines
- Perform CNC, laser cutting, quality checks and self-audits throughout production
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and safety
Skills and Experience
- Basic math skills (fractions & decimals required)
- Ability to problem-solve in a production environment
- At least 1 year of Machine Operator experience
- Experience with CNC, laser cutting, or fabrication equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Comfortable using measuring tools and hand/power tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
