Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness
• Review and improve housekeeping procedures and practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and industry standards
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, staff, and other departments
• Conduct performance evaluations, discipline, and provide coaching to housekeeping staff
• Develop and manage department budget and expenses
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
• Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

• Minimum 0 years of experience in housekeeping management or a related field

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality, healthcare, or a related field an asset

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Physical stamina to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
