Business Analyst

Overview Edgewater is seeking a Business Analyst to support our federal client in Washington, DC. The candidate will be working with a cross functional development team, and the position will be performed onsite in Washington, DC 5 days a week without remote work options. US citizenship is required and we are only considering candidates that live within a 50 mile radius of D.C. Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering and business process documentation, coordinating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to develop content. Produce project documentation including business process models, requirements document, and user stories. Prepare and edit technical guidance (e.g. policies and procedures), best practices, briefings, operations and maintenance manuals and documentation, as needed. Produce and apply style guides and design guidelines to ensure a consistent presentation of information. Proofread large technical documents for spelling, grammar, usage, textual errors, and appropriate tone. Conduct technical research as needed to produce content. Translate complex concepts into useable, audience-appropriate text and graphics. Qualifications US citizenship is required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 7 years of experience in Business Analysis This experience should include producing technical documentation for multiple platforms according to software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.
