Physician Assistant - Urgent Care Profession: Advanced Practice Specialty: Urgent Care Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day - 8x5 - 09 AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 12 months in urgent care treating adults and pediatrics License: Active NC license and active NC DEA Certifications: Board Certification, PA Certification, Family NP Certification, BLS Certification Must-Have: Provider must have experience treating adults and pediatrics (6 months+). Provider must be able to manage high volume patient care as a sole provider. Provider should maintain a positive attitude. Provider will be required to use electronic medical records. Provider must be able to see and treat all patients independently. Provider should possess good interpersonal skills as they will interact one-on-one with support staff and patients. Provider must pass a clinical screening/interview. Training is mandatory and will occur on designated days. Description: Provider must already live in the immediate area. Provider should exhibit a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare. Provider will encounter a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatric patients aged 6 months and older. Expected patient volume is up to 60 per day, with an average of 45. Provider will perform a variety of urgent care cases, including minor procedures. Training will include learning the electronic medical record system. The facility does not provide reimbursement for travel or lodging. Provider must complete credentialing requirements before being scheduled. Supervision will be provided by an offsite supervising physician for locum advanced practice providers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
