Job Opportunity: Licensed Audiologist
Are you a qualified Audiologist eager to embrace a role focused on assessments? Do you have a passion for supporting the Veteran community? If so, we invite you to consider joining our team.
Position OverviewWe are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Veterans will submit their claims prior to your assessment, and all relevant medical records will be accessible through a digital portal for your review during the appointment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
- Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the computer portal, which serves as essential medical evidence for the VA's decision-making regarding benefits.
- Assess and review an average of 3-6 Veterans daily.
This is an IN-PERSON role with a consistent schedule of three days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Each patient will receive between 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes of your dedicated attention. Please note that this position does not involve evenings, on-call duties, weekends, or hearing aid sales.
Qualifications- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an ASHA Accredited institution.
- Current Audiologist license.
- Malpractice insurance provided by our organization.
- Health insurance options available.
- Membership to ASHA Learning Pass for continuing education units (CEUs).
