Position Details:

• We offer a competitive starting salary range of $60k-$75k, depending on experience, during training. Post training, Sales Reps can earn uncapped commissions.
• Unlike traditional commission-based sales, our Sales Reps earn commissions on every order, not just one-time deals. These territories already have active, loyal customers placing weekly orders, creating a steady stream of income from day one.
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM
• Local Territory. This is a field-based sales role covering Suffolk County.
• Travel: You'll be on the road visiting customers around 80% of the time within the territory, with mileage reimbursement and a car allowance provided through our CarData program. Some travel potential to the Scranton OpCo (located in Wilkes-Barre, PA) for sales meetings and based on business needs.

You'll oversee a broad array existing independent convenience stores customers, driving sales through our varied foodservice and convenience programs. Your role extends beyond maintaining existing customers; it involves tapping into new customers and forging strong business relationships. Job Responsibilities:

• Grow sales and profit margins through execution on sales strategy and territory management, planning a sales approach customized with individual customers.
• Prospecting and onboarding of new customer accounts, including cold-calling to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Educate the customer on convenience and foodservice programs, new product promotions, marketing policies, service, delivery specifics, and industry activities.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly reports with the store manager and assist with any opportunities that may arise.
• Minimizes accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and follows-up on any problems.
• Maintains awareness of pricing trends within sales territory, particularly for products, to ensure competitive pricing.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
• Participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Candidates with limited or no prior sales experience may be considered if they have a qualifying degree. At least two years of sales, account management, or business development experience in lieu of the degree. Must own or have consistent access to a reliable vehicle, with a valid driver's license and current auto insurance. Must meet company requirements for a satisfactory driving record.

Preferred qualifications:

Demonstrated leadership, communication, customer service, business development, internship or other relevant transferable experience is preferred. B2B sales experience is a plus. Experience in foodservice, wholesale, grocery or convenience retail is a plus. Experience using CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, is a plus.
