Assess, treat and care for patients with breathing disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of respiratory care students. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. Provides high quality respiratory care to the following patient populations: Neonate, Infant, Toddler, School Age, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric. Job Requirements

BLS (AHA or ARC acceptable) required for clinical positions. NRP certification required. Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification as required for the position within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration. Must have completed education verified through 3rd party, combined with diploma and/or transcripts if needed. Drug screen within 30 days of start - 9 panel including Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine, Methadone, Methamphetamine, Opiates, Oxycodone, and Phencyclidine. Complete GRH Skills Checklist within 12 months - does not expire. COVID-19 vaccine or declination accepted. MMR: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal, 1 booster or declination accepted. Fit test completed prior to start with acceptable masks. Hepatitis B: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal, 1 booster or declination accepted. TB test: proof of negative test completed in past year or documentation if history of positive test. Health statement from physician within last 12 months. Current driver's license or state ID that does not expire during assignment. Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal, 1 booster or declination accepted. Tdap valid for 10 years from administered date; declinations accepted. Background check within 30 days of start including SS trace and county search for last 7 years. Iowa Adult and Child Abuse state requirement. EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start. Two professional references required, one must be from supervisor. Resume or profile submission required. I-9 attestation completed. Color vision test. Contract employee data sheet. NSO check within 30 days of start. OFAC check within 30 days of start. Evergreen Link acknowledgment within 48 hours of offer acceptance. OSHA questionnaire completed by candidate. Pre-orientation CBL acknowledgment form. Influenza vaccine or facility declination accepted, due by December 1 annually. Schedule Information

12 hour shifts. Every other weekend is required. On call required once every scheduling period. May cover other shifts as needed. Additional Details
