Job Description

Position: Traveling Industrial Painter

Location: Houston, TX

Compensation: $30/hr - $35/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:

Paint and coat energized/de-energized electrical transmission and distribution towers and substations.
Climb towers up to 300 feet using PPE and 100% tie-off techniques.
Prepare steel surfaces using hand and power tools.
Apply paint using mitts, brushes, and rollers.
Follow OSHA, safety, industry, and customer requirements.
Travel to remote job sites and work outdoors in hot and cold conditions.
Travel for assignments lasting 4+ weeks and work weekends as needed.
Maintain clean and orderly work and sleeping areas.

Qualifications:

Familiar with, or ability to learn, various surface preparation and coating techniques.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability to travel 100% of the time
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and safety-focused.
Ability to follow directions and learn new techniques.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout North America.
Trailer-pulling experience preferred.
Ability to obtain required safety certifications.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
