Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to join the nationally recognized team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington . In this specialized role, you will provide advanced respiratory care to critically ill infants and children, utilizing the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies to support life-saving interventions and exceptional patient outcomes.

As a valued member of the pediatric critical care team, you'll collaborate with pediatric intensivists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Offering a competitive salary of $66,000 – $107,000 annually , this is an excellent opportunity for respiratory professionals looking to make a meaningful impact while advancing their careers in pediatric critical care.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Completion of the required education or training necessary to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
• Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and respiratory care skills.
• Ability to provide advanced respiratory care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), or pediatric critical care environment.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Experience managing pediatric mechanical ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, and advanced airway management.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
