OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Edison, NJ by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Lead the safe transit of hazardous freight from Edison, NJ across the continental U.S. in late-model tractors.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport HazMat cargo, maintaining full regulatory compliance
- Complete comprehensive trip documentation and inspections
- Collaborate with dispatch for on-time deliveries
Your Benefits:
- 65¢/mile base pay + 2¢/mile HazMat premium
- Weekly averages of 2,500 miles, plus safety, inspections, and referral rewards
- Modern trucks with APUs, inverters, sleeper cabs, plus dedicated maintenance
Home every two weeks and receive health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).
