Project Engineer - Land Development

We are seeking a Project Engineer with experience in land development engineering to support the design and execution of site development projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong AutoCAD expertise and hands‑on experience producing technical drawings for land development. In this role, you will work closely with surveyors and project teams to transform raw land into buildable sites through the design of roads, drainage systems, utilities, and grading plans. Responsibilities Prepare and review engineering designs and construction documents for land development projects Collaborate with surveyors and project teams on construction layout and site planning activities Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for roadways, drainage systems, utilities, and grading plans Support the conversion of raw land into developable plots through precise engineering design Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with local regulations and standards Assist with project coordination and contribute to efficient execution of workflows Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) Hands‑on AutoCAD experience specifically applied to land development projects Experience working as a Land Development Engineer Practical experience supporting land development workflows, including one or more of the following: Road design Drainage design Utility design Grading Construction layout Ability to produce precise, high‑quality engineering drawings Experience supporting surveyors and construction layout activities Preferred Skills Strong understanding of land development processes and site design principles Familiarity with local permitting requirements and regulatory standards Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a team setting Compensation $61,000 – $90,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
