Exciting Day Shift Opportunity for Experienced RN!

Job Description:


- Position Type: Day 3x12-Hour Shifts (08:00 - 20:30)
- Flu Vaccine Required : Candidates must have the flu vaccine with no exemptions.


Qualifications:
- Experience : Minimum of 1 year, with prior ICU or ED experience.
- Licensure : Active California RN License.
- Certifications : Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Traveler Status : First-time travelers welcome, must have 2 years of PACU experience.

Job Details:
- Weekend Requirements : Some weekends required.
- Floating : Yes, floating to different units may be required.
- On-Call Requirements : Weeknight call (11p-7a) and 1-2 weekend call (7a-7p or 7p-7a) every 2 months.
- RTO : No scheduling requests can be accommodated. No RTO within the first 2 weeks.

Skills and Responsibilities:
- Must be proficient in patient care protocols and procedures.
- Experience in various surgical and medical scenarios (see detailed skills list).
- Familiarity with critical care environments and patient management.

Patient Care:
- Age Groups : Care for a diverse range, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Daily Census : Engaging with a daily census of approximately 60 patients.
- Interdisciplinary Support : Collaborate with IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.
