Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to bring basement renovation projects to life
• Complete framing, drywall, trim, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks
• Install custom features such as built-ins, shelving, cabinetry, and finish details
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet Matrix quality standards
• Maintain and repair existing structures and fixtures when needed
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and effectively
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members throughout the project
• Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience, preferably in residential remodeling or basement finishing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction plans
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift materials and work in active construction environments

Salary Description
