PRN Manager, Care Management

Job Number: 178527, Job Title: PRN Manager, Care Management, Salary: $56.33 - $73.25 Job Summary The Manager of Care Management (MCM) is accountable for the operational management of an assigned area for assisting the Admin Director of Care Management with human resource, quality, and financial management. The MCM oversees implementation of care management functions in the assigned area and serves as a clinical leader and resource in care management. The MCM assists the Admin Director with the implementation of plans and policies, adherence to standards, and the evaluation and reporting relevant to achievement of goals. The MCM provides oversight to ensure area staff utilization patterns are congruent to standards and has the authority to make operational and human resource decisions consistent with Harris Health policies and approved guidelines. The MCM is responsible for facilitating an environment that supports professional practice and empowers staff to provide safe, effective, compassionate, and efficient care in collaboration with all health care disciplines. The MCM ensures compliance with standards established by professional organizations, regulatory agencies, and institutional policies. The MCM upholds high standards of integrity and ethical behavior, mentors others, role models professionalism, and participates in activities such as professional organizations. Minimum Qualifications Education/Licensure/Specialized Training: Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelors degree in Nursing required. Masters degree in Nursing or related field is preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of Social Work with a Master's degree in Social Work. Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas. Related specialty certification required within two years of employment. Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) - minimum. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - preferred. Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Accredited Case Manager (ACM) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to be completed within two (2) years if not held at the time of appointment. Work Experience: Three (3) years of work experience in clinical case management. Management/Experience: Two (2) years related management/leadership experience is required. Special Requirements Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact); Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking); Writing /Composing: Correspondence / Reports.
