Event Assistant

Live events don't run themselves, that's where you come in. We are hiring an Event Assistant to help plan, set up, and execute brand activations, pop-ups, and corporate events across El Paso. One week it’s a promotional launch near Downtown El Paso, the next a community activation in East El Paso or a corporate gathering in the Sunland Park area. What you’ll be doing: On-Site Event Execution: Assist with setup, tear-down, and live coordination for regional events, pop-up markets, and corporate functions. Logistics & Admin: Help track equipment, coordinate vendor drop-offs, and handle the behind-the-scenes schedule details that keep events running on time. Real-Time Troubleshooting: Stay calm, adapt on the fly, and resolve unexpected issues before guests or clients ever notice. Client & Guest Support: Serve as a welcoming, professional point of contact for event attendees, venue staff, and client representatives. What We’re Looking For: Reliable & Punctual: Events depend on strict timelines; showing up ready on time is critical. Active & Hands-On: Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting event supplies or boxes up to ~30 lbs. Strong Communication: Personable, approachable, and clear when working with the public and internal teams. Background: 0–2 years of experience. Prior work in hospitality, retail, customer service, or restaurant operations translates exceptionally well. No formal event management experience required, we provide fully paid training. Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States. Schedule Flexibility: Hours vary based on event schedules and include some early mornings, evenings, or weekends, with advance schedule visibility provided.
