Talented Individual Needed For Global Operations Team

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Operations team, part of our reinsurance business at Marsh. This role will be based in New York, NY. The role is a hybrid one that requires at least three days a week in the office.

This role will partner with cross-functional teams to assess current-state workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical, scalable solutions. Drawing on a consulting background, this role will help translate complex operational challenges into structured project plans and deliver results with speed and precision. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, persuasive communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

We will count on you to:

• Support the identification, prioritization, and execution of operational improvement initiatives across the reinsurance value chain
• Assist with current-state assessments and gap analyses to identify process inefficiencies and recommend actionable solutions
• Develop structured project plans, track milestones, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to deliver work on time and within scope
• Assist in the design and implementation of process reengineering efforts, including workflow redesigns, standard operating procedures, and operational playbooks
• Support change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, training material development, and adoption tracking
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, measure impact, and support decision-making
• Contribute to strategic planning cycles by preparing briefing materials, monthly and quarterly business review decks, status reports, and presentations for senior leadership
• Build trusted relationships across the organization while demonstrating strong analytical skills, effective communication, and disciplined execution

What you need to have:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in management consulting or a similar field
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop hypotheses, and drive data-backed recommendations
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a matrixed environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative team-first mindset, and familiarity with AI, machine learning, automation, and digital workflow concepts

What makes you stand out:

• Experience in financial services, insurance, or reinsurance, with familiarity in broking, underwriting support, or claims operations
• Exposure to Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies; professional certification is a plus, such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other scripting languages for data processing and workflow automation
