MATERIAL HANDLER - 3RD SHIFT (FEDERAL PLANT)

We're looking for a reliable Material Handler to support our finishing, casting, and shipping operations. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping materials flowing, supporting production, and ensuring our customers receive high-quality die-cast products.

What You'll Do

• Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and tuggers.
• Keep production areas stocked, organized, and running efficiently.
• Verify counts, weights, and labels for accuracy.
• Support finishing operations, including setup and changeovers.
• Complete daily production reporting for finished goods.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Help maintain smooth workflow and minimize downtime.
• Step in to support production roles as needed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift (PIT) experience (minimum 6 months in manufacturing).
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus if you have:

• Experience in finishing or shipping operations.
• Familiarity with production tracking, labeling, and reporting.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Hands-on role in a hot manufacturing environment requiring standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working with tools and machinery.
• Safety is a top priority, and proper PPE is always required.
