Meet our team at FACS Experts.$5,000 sign-on bonus includedPrimary FunctionThe Project Manager leads and manages industrial hygiene projects—including asbestos, lead, mold, and related environmental health work—from initial client contact through final report delivery. This role owns project budgets, staffing, and client relationships, while supervising project coordinators, project managers, and technicians. The Project Manager also performs on-site surveys, inspections, assessments, and abatement oversight, and ensures projects meet applicable safety and regulatory standards.ResponsibilitiesBudgetary / FinancialMeet or exceed individual billable hours and billable revenue targetsMaintain WIP aging in acceptable range (<15% WIP over 45 days)Review WIP on projects weekly and requests invoices frequentlyAssemble cost estimate for proposals, and enter into Project Planning in the ERP systemMonitor project budgets throughout the course of the project to ensure costs are on track and proactively make adjustments as needed keeping the client updatedFollow procedures for invoicing projects on a progress or a final close outProvide assistance to Accounting Dept. when tasked for collections or invoicing issuesProject Tasks / PerformanceUpdate A.R.C. for open projects with current stages and associated due datesMaintain acceptable report turnaround time to ensure timely deliverablesReview project scope and select tasks and deliverablesField calls from potential and existing clientsFollow the procedure for opening new projects, communicate all required informationEstablish the schedule for the projects and assign appropriate/capable staffPerform and/or coordinate field investigationsOversee field personnel activity and quality and provide feedback to the team involvedSelect, rent or borrow the necessary equipment for projectsPrepare and review reports for projectsEnter time and expenses dailySave all project-related documents into electronic project fileBusiness DevelopmentMonitor open opportunities in ERP system and follow up with the client accordinglyMaintain relationships with focus clients and update data accordingly in ERP systemAttend association meetings and client meetingsArrange and attend presentation opportunitiesRefer and/or engage the business development team in local opportunitiesAssist in the preparation of marketing resources (project summaries)TechnicalMaintain technical certificationsAttend required technical training (internal and external)Assist in the development of staffMaintain internal QA/QC complianceQualificationsExperience & EducationMinimum 4-5 years of experience in industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, or a related field, including hands-on experience with common IEQ field instrumentsDemonstrated success managing large or complex projects in at least one FACS service lineBachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, health and safety, biological science, or physical science preferredSkills & CertificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient with standard business and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office; ERP/project systems)Flexible schedule with willingness to travel to project locations as neededDOSH CAC and/or CDPH IA preferred; other relevant certifications (e.g., CIH, AHERA) a plusPhysical & Work RequirementsPhysical ability to stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, walk, and stand for extended periods in varied work environments to perform sampling activitiesAbility to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer for documentation and reportingMust be able to pass a background check, annual physicals, and OSHA-required respirator fit testsValid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insuranceCompensation and RewardsCompetitive base salary with performance-based bonus structure tied to individual and team achievementsComprehensive benefits package, including:Medical coverage with 100% company-paid premiums for employees and their families, plus 50% of the annual deductible covered by the company401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributionsVision and dental plan optionsFlexible Spending Accounts (health care and dependent care)Company-sponsored programs including Employee Assistance Program, life and disability insurance, Rocket Lawyer legal services, and mobile phone plan with VerizonVoluntary benefits options including supplemental life insurance for employees and dependents, short-term disability, hospital, accident, and pet insuranceGenerous PTO (3 weeks accrual), paid holidays, volunteer days, and floating holidayTuition Reimbursement Program to promote higher educationPaid training and certifications to support career advancementIncentive Bonus Plan and Donation Matching ProgramWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location, relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.Equal Opportunity EmployerForensic Analytical Consulting Services is an equal-opportunity employer that complies with EEOC rules and regulations.
