We offer a full benefits package to include 4 weeks paid time off (PTO) for hourly positions, health, dental, vision, investment savings plan, and other additional miscellaneous benefits.Core responsibilities include:Transactions to maintain inventory accuracy within computer systemTransporting purchased material from receiving and putting to proper stock locationTransporting finished goods inventory to stock areaKeep work area clean and organizedFollow ISO standardsProvide back-up support for each other and for assigned areasMonitor and order non-inventory material from vendorsMay be asked to participate in some receiving activities including verification and countingRun daily and weekly reports to review/resolve material variancesTransact operations and close shop orders in timely mannerReview engineering changes for inventory impactDistribute new and revised processes to work centersCoordinate material in manufacturingNotify scheduling/planning of shortages, scrap, and other discrepancies in material countsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years of material handling or similar experience preferredMaterial Handler Training as provided by YSI; previous experience in a manufacturing environment desiredCommunication and interpersonal skillsBasic math skillsAbility to use computers and software in a variety of functions including keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mailOrganizational skills, work with minimal guidance on daily tasksWillingness to provide support for other areas as necessaryAbility to multi-taskWork within dynamic environment with customer delivery pressureAttention to detailIn this role, the working environment is a combination of hot and cold with exposure to elements such as: noise, dust, and brightly lit areas and the physical demands may include but not limited to regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.Our total rewards program goes far beyond base compensation by providing a more fulfilling work experience and offering a competitive benefits program, including:Generous PTO package and paid holidaysGenerous retirement savings planCustomizable health, dental and vision insurance (eligible on first date)Career progression plansReward and recognition programsPaid parental leaveTuition ReimbursementCompany Wellness ProgramEmployee Discount ProgramJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
