Mechanical Project Engineer – Counce MillThe purpose of this position is to provide mechanical engineering support so that mill goals are met or exceeded.Responsibilities:Plan, develop, coordinate and direct mechanical engineering projects to a successful completion including meeting the monetary budget.Implement projects such that desired results are achieved.Adhere to mill safety regulations and promote safety in the performance of job functions.Install projects for ease of maintenance and operations. Provide necessary documentation and recommended spare parts.Ensure that adequate training is provided.Participate and contribute to mill improvement projects.Secure and direct the services of outside consultants when required.Position Requirements:B. S. Degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 5 years experience, preferably in the paper industryPCA provides a competitive comprehensive benefits package.Compensation and Benefits:Starting salary range for position: $95,000 to $125,000Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.Paid Holidays.Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan.
