Material Coordinator 2

Our client, a leading organization in the life sciences manufacturing sector, is seeking a Material Coordinator 2 to join their team. As a Material Coordinator 2, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting inventory management and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Coordinator 2

Location: Hayward, CA

Pay Range: $24.75/hr

Shift: 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm)

What's the Job?

• Transfer finished goods inventory from manufacturing and Receiving to warehouse locations for order fulfillment

• Monitor and segregate finished goods inventory that are placed on hold daily

• Facilitate transfer requests to and from offsite storage by generating reports through ERP

• Perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory variances, and submit for completion

• Support picking, packing, and shipping of materials for order fulfillment using scanners or manual methods

What's Needed?

• Experience preferably in a life sciences manufacturing environment with temperature-sensitive products

• Familiarity with GMP's and ISO regulated environments

• Strong leadership skills, with excellent communication and 3-5 years of materials or logistics experience

• Proficiency in ERP systems, spreadsheet, and word processing software (SAP preferred)

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs
